REFUGE DE RABUONS (FFCAM)
The refuge is located in the most alpine, but little-known, site of the Alpes Maritimes. In the center of a mineral setting and on the edge of a large and deep mountain lake (100 m), this small refuge with stone walls, is a step towards exciting crossings because of the panoramas they offer.
In this refuge where conviviality reigns, the caretaker offers tasty meals, cooked with local products, for moments of conviviality. It also ensures compliance with ecological rules to preserve the site. Whether you are rather aperitif on the terrace or idleness by the lake you will find your happiness at the refuge of Rabuons. The guardian will guide you in the choice of your hikes to the surrounding lakes and peaks such as the Ténibre (3031m), Roche Rousse (2994m), the Grand Cimon du Rabuons (2994m) or Cime du Corborant (3007m). You can also walk to the nearby refuges.
